Just like fantasy football....we had a "Bye" this year.
We had two major family weddings before and after the regular Labor Day race date,
had not promoted the event,
had not trained ourselves,
and other things.
We have every intention of making the 2012 Tri bigger and better than ever.

Another Successful Year!
Thanks to all our volunteers and participants for a great third year! This year we dealt with a rain delay but at least it wasn't last year's blistering heat. We are tentatively planning next year's event over labor day weekend again so mark your calendars.
Tim is working to get all the results & pictures posted (he'll probably get them up on fb before here).
Thanks again to our hosts, timekeepers, results official, boat rescue team, SAG wagon, water girl, photographer, grill masters, logo designer, t-shirt maker, babysitters, and racers!

2009 Date is SET
The Clubhouse Triathon
Date: 05 September 2009
Time: 9 AM
Registraion is now open: Cost is $20 for participants which includes t-shirts, food, drinks, and a good time. ($10 for volunteers if the want shirts). Email tim@lubenkovs.com with names and shirt sizes.
Triathlon Length:
Swim = .25 Miles
Bike = 10 Miles
Run = 2.5 Miles
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO COMPLETE ALL EVENTS, AND CAN START WHEN THE GROUP REACHES AN EVENT OR PARTICPATE IN A TEAM
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO WALK THE "RUN COURSE" START WHEN THE SWIMMERS START.

Oscars Club House
What you will need to bring:
-Sports energy drink or gel packs for Transition Points
-Flotation device if you are not comfortable swimming (or cramp easily)
-Towel to dry feet off after Swim
-Sun Glasses
-Bike
-Helmet (preferable)
-Running Shoes
What will be provided:
-Lake water
-Pavement
-Gravel
-A room to change from swimming clothes to Biking/Running (if you don't like being wet for the run)
-Water station at the Transition points
-Recorded Times
-A really Hot day
-People puking on course
Volunteers needed:
2 - Time Keepers (One for reading the Stop Watch, One for writing the times)
4 - Water Station Fillers (Two people at each Post)
? - Cheering Section
6 - For 3 boats trailing the swimmers. (Two People in each boat) ARMED with Life jackets, and ropes for those who need help in the swim.
This is a fun event. The time it takes to finish is not as important as finishing and spending the rest of the day relaxing with family and friends with a beverage in hand. However be prepared to spend 1 - 2 hours for this triathlon.

2009 Triathlon
Due to obligations such as Weddings in early summer, the triathlon (originally set for June 27) will not work for a lot of returning tri-athlete's.
The new date for the Triahlon is now September 5, 2009
